Alison here.  Willa and Auntie Em were baking this afternoon.  They came home with delicious cookies.  Me & Tony loved them and gave them 10/10.  So did Willa.  Nina didn't like them but she's not a fan of peanut butter.  Willa can't believe that.  I can however as only started liking peanut butter this year :) Very nice Sunday treat!  I will update the blog when I get Emily's rating as she was heading for the ferry and I forgot to ask her for her comments :)

Emily: I really enjoyed my afternoon with Willa. I don’t see her enough with me living in Scalloway.
I got most of the ingredients from Tesco’s before I owent up to Whalsay, but i forgot to get the oats and bananas. So me and Willa had a nice little stroll up to Tetley & Anderson’s shop to get these.
I would give the cookies 9/10 for taste. They were also very quick and easy to make. Would definitely make them again.
Just to add, you could also substitute some of the ingredients - like honey instead of maple syrup, or almond butter instead of peanut butter. 😊
